Verónica obtained her PhD in Sciences and Humanities for Interdisciplinary Development (UAdeC-UNAM). Master of Science in Neurobiology (UNAM). Bachelor of Chemistry Pharmacobiology (UMSNH). Research stay at the University of Irvine California at the Center for the Neurobiology of Learning and Memory.
She has been Research Director leading projects based on neuroscience. She has been a professor at prestigious private institutions. Her research is mainly based on issues related to health-disease where she applies techniques based on the analysis of networks from the macro, meso and micro levels. In these investigations she uses analysis tools such as Gephi, Cytoscape, Orange Data Mining and NodeXL.
