Dr. Andrew Rowe (@drandrewrowe) is Researcher Training and Development Facilitator at the Graduate School at the University of Nottingham. He is originally a human geographer but his PhD (completed in 2017 at Loughborough University) was multi-disciplinary; incorporating sociology, information management, human geography and political science. This looked at the challenges and opportunities of how campaign groups incorporate social media into existing campaigns. He is a relatively new, self-taught, convert to social network analysis and has used NodeXL since 2013 in both his doctoral thesis and research papers which have been published in Geoforum, Politics & Policy and the International Journal of Transport Economics.
