The network map shows the Twitter communications from major surgical journals with the BJS network being highlighted in red. Created by Dr. Graham Mackenzie of the Scottish NHS, the map accompanies a lead article on the Value of social media in advancing surgical research by J. Dziakova and J. Mayol.
